Usually I am the first one getting all set and ready whether its a birthday party, office meeting, family gathering or formal meetups. Not because I am pro time manager but because lipstick alone serves the purpose of whole makeup many times.
Well lipsticks are my all time favorites. Even if I don’t have to wear it all the time I make sure I have a few present in my bag, purse and dressing drawer. From nudes to brights, I keep trying different shades to see what goes well with my tone and the best is the one which you can carry with confidence.
I thought of sharing some of my lipsticks collection. Though I am not brand conscious but still I make sure the product I use on my skin is a quality product. I fear using cheap ones and regretting later.
The long-lasting, matte finish, hydrating and buttery application of lipsticks are my choices. From my recent collection, I have picked up 04 of them from different brands.

Being not a makeup-holic I still have good collection of beauty products. In this blog, I will stick to a few of lipsticks alone.
So, what do you look for while buying a lipstick for yourself?
Well, this is how I choose;
Choosing a Lipstick
- Look for the color
If it looks alluring to eyes, it does not necessarily mean it will be pleasing on application.
- Application on skin
It is wise to apply tester and see how the color turns out on your skin before jumping on to the decision of making it yours.
- The type of lip color
Satin, Matte, Gloss, Tint, what are you confident and comfortable wearing? Remember lipsticks last longer than some relations. So, don’t rush.
- Match and Catch
If it matches your skin tone, go for it.

Mac Ruby Woo (b85) – I would rate it as a powerful, strong, and bold shade. It will give you a glamorous look.

Chanel Rouge Coco (454) – This is a hydrating, shiny, buttery lipstick, and my personal favorite.

Mikyajy Ultra Matte 901 – This is an intense creamy matte product.

Mac Creme in your coffee – warm pinkish tone, gives your lips a natural finish.
