After a long time, drama with an intense storyline and a slowly developing but strong plot from the beginning which kept the audience engaged is telecasted.
“Yeh dil mera” a thriller, suspense drama by hum tv is a must-watch show. This drama is not overly dragged which usually has started happening in the Pakistani Entertainment industry. The total number of episodes is 33. Though the ending could have been a better one, the second last episode of Yeh Dil Mera was outstanding in all respects. The emotional scene by Sajjal Ali made the audience cry.
The worth mentioning actors who proved to be star cast of this drama includes Adnan Siddiqui (Agha Jan), Sajjal Ali (Aina), Naima Khan (Bua Ji), and Ahad Raza Mir (Arman).
Two poles apart individuals fall in love but the hidden secrets are revealed later on which becomes reason of agony and suffering to each of the main characters in different ways.
Although the base story line is developed on revenge of family murder but it ends up in realization that love is stronger than vengeance.
A beautiful Sajjal Aly and dashing Ahad Raza Mir showed superb chemistry in this drama and won million hearts.
This drama has a very unusual story with many layers that kept unfolding in each episode. It won’t be wrong to say Yeh Dil Mera was suspense, thriller, love story, and a prodigious piece. A young girl who sees her mother murdered in front of her eyes spends her life with misinterpretation of those by her own father to hide his evilness from the only daughter. A young boy, whereas, is seen going through the same mental trauma but he is quite aware of the fact that the dreams and fears he is living with are for real. His father, mother, and sister are murdered and he commits to taking revenge at all costs.
The ost of the drama is too good.
Bua Ji (Naima Khan) is a supporting character of the story but her amazing acting in all the episodes makes audience shift their attention towards her.
Second last episode is the episode of secret revelation. This is where the climax is climaxed and story show some high voltage emotional scenes including the one in which Aina confronts her Agha Jan and upon knowing the truth is shattered.
“Meri saari zindagi jhoot thi? Main sab se larti rahi k mere aagha jaan kisi ko qatal nahi kar saktay. kisi ki jaan nahi le saktay”
The last episode however, I personally did not like it. It could have been better by bringing the couple together and moving on in life, unfortunately, it didn’t happen so was a bit disappointed.
